I was trying to flash my benq with JF in win xp and when I was on firmwareTool 32 tab, it cound not autoload the Benq iXtreme file and i manually did it but when I tried to use the xbox, it wont read an original or a copy. Is the benq dead and do I just need to get another or is there a way to bring this one back to life?

did you hit the spoof to source button before writing the hacked fw to the drive? if not i hope you save the key it dumped when it read the console. if you didnt, you now have a nice white or black paper weight.

I did the unlock, read, saved and then when it did ask to auto load the Benq iXtreme, I said yes and it couldnt find it. The source bin was loaded but the target bin was blank. that is when I manually loaded the target firmware and found the ixtreme 1.5 manual spoofing then back to the MTK flash 32 to write

reload your OFW as target and write that back, see if it will then read originals.

load this as your source file:

Benq Dump file saved to C:\Documents and Settings\Seth1\Desktop\Xbox360\Xbox 360 Flashing Tools\iXtreme 1.51\Benq\6.bin

The file "6.bin" is probably the correct bin with the right dvdkey. The 777777777* dvdkey is default and isn't the proper dvdkey.

load this as your target file:

Loading target file C:\Documents and Settings\Seth1\Desktop\Xbox360\Xbox 360 Flashing Tools\iXtreme 1.51\Benq\Benq_CFWfinal.bin

Now, spoof source to target, and you should get a unique key with numbers and letters. They should be identical. Save the file, and then write firmware. If successful, it should work now. Good luck!
