hey, i flashed my xbox360 with extereme boot maker and xtereme52 firmware as its was only one i could get the program to load ! and this is what the tutorial was saying ot use. it flashed perfect success at reading and writing my ms-28 drive , first time ever doing it was great ! now i tryed a original game and it played perfect , then i put in a backup game and said unrecognised disk . what would usualy cause this , the way it was burned from iso , the type of disk , or is the firmware to old for the game army of 2 40th day. any help or ideas would be appreciated.

1:extract the .rar file with winrar, winzip or 7zip to get you .iso . ( thats if it's in a load of split rar files )
2:run the iso through abgx360 1.02 to fix the stealth and create/fix the .dvd file if need be. http://abgx360.net/verified.php 3:start clonecd or imgburn and select burn image to disc (imgburn is the better of the 2 and is a free programme)
4:selct the .dvd file NOT the iso.
5:select 2.4x for burning speed
6:click start and go do something else for about 40 mins.
7:when it's finished play the game and enjoy.
I find the best disks to use are verbs and arita dvd+r dl
i am really stuck , i would love to use 1.61 ixtereme but i could not get that firmware to load in xteremebootmaker ! or even 1.4 or any 52extereme was only one that would load. really needed it to be simple and that was a great tutorial and easy to follow ,i burned the iso image , not the .dvd file so i recon that could possibly be the issue !

Try using jungleflasher instead of xteremebootmaker whatever that is, google jungleflasher.pdf for the best guide ;)
hi , thanks for your info and help , i looked at jungleflasher and looks to hard for me as i am totaly new to this ! it wsa xtreme bootmaker 5.3 i used to do mine, i got from xbins, i seen jungle flasher there , and iprep , il maybe try it as i seen a less complicated tutorial ! will exterem52 work with new games ? i will never b going online with the console.

Never go online with that, but yes, Xtreme 5.2 should be just fine.
If using JF seems too hard, did you try taking iXtreme 1.6.1, renaming it to xtreme 5.2, and dropping it in whatever folder xtremebootmaker uses? I've never used it myself, as back then I just used mtkflash in dos.
