in regards to the new USB update..

I have a high speed 16GB USB stick that i use for university. I was wondering whether i'd still be able to use this as a storage device for work, videos and documents if i used the CUSTOMISE option and dedicated say 2GB to xbox game saves / profile storage? Or will it reformat / delete the whole USB so that only the xbox can use it.

Also, if the customise option is a no-go. Am i able to partition the usb stick and then allow for one partition to be used as xbox storage?

I believe the new update gives you the option to dedicate up to 16GB of sapce for xbox files and leaves the rest intact for your personal use. But I would recommend to backup all your important files before doing this just in case...

i'm all for it xbl games on a handset. i can finally play something else besides solitaire while taking a dump now... AND get achievements at it!!!

Yeah I think it lets you determine the amount of space you dedicate so your plan should be fine.
