Got my new USB NAND flasher today and I get this error when trying to read my NAND,

Quote:
Incompatible ARM hardware for this version of NandPro!
Google suggests that I need Nandpro 2.0a (rather than 2.0b which I have). I cant seem to fins any other downloads for this other than 2.0b, anyone help with this?

Thanks as always
Mike

Update, I have tried 2.0a & 2.0e (cheers for you help with that on live chat wabash) but I get the same error. Could it be bad LPT wiring?

Which version of the USB flasher is it?

It should already have the resistors on the PCB board so make sure you have no resistors in your wiring. Also, the diode at J1D2.4 does not need to be there for USB.

Is the darkstar USB SPI Flasher with PIC18F2455

No additional resistors or diodes added. Do I have to add a jumper on bootloader bit?

Also, what error would i get if it couldnt detect the NAND as the one im trying is one i couldnt pick up on lpt.

I actually have the same design and I know it works on 2.0b and 2.0d. You programmed the the PIC correctly right?

Here is a tutorial for the programming: http://www.tiaowiki.com/w/How_to_JTAG_XB...B_SPI_Interface

Thanks for this Leerage, I had a try at this last night (late I know) but I still couldn't get it to work. When I point the add hardware wizard to the inf in the folder mentioned in this guide, windows tells me that this driver doesn't contact any info for my hardware and wont install that driver.

It does however accept the driver that comes with NANDpro but the PDFSUSB tool doesn't have anything in the drop down box when I go to flash the .hex file to the PIC. Ive tried with the bootloader switch on & off and still the same

Any ideas?

Ive left it dumping NAND's on a batch file ATM, so I know the XBOX is fine. This was bought before the NANDFlasher pro I bought this before any commercial ones were released and I had to get it from russia.
