Component cable not outputting blues

I have a component cable for my xbox 360 that also works for the wii and ps3 (it has the 3 separate connectors). Today I turned on the xbox and the blue component signal was not being output to the tv. The red and green were working fine. I double checked all connections. I also tested the cable with my PS3 and Wii and it output blue green and red just fine.

Does anyone know if this is an XBOX 360 hardware issue? I've also tried resetting the display options in the menu, as well as trying the y+right trigger thing.

Try with a different cable if that does not work try updating your console but not if it is before the 8xxx Kernel and if that does not work it is probably some thing wrong with the actual connection. If it has HDMI use that.

unfortunately it is an older model so no hdmi and it has the latest updates. i dont have another cable, not sure if i should buy another cable or another xbox!
