Maybe clip some excess wiring?

I can't really tell from the pic but it looks like the diodes aren't going to the J2D2 area where they should be.

yeah, I will once I get it working. I wasn't too worried about looks right now. Goal is to get it to boot. From some reading a few have had to solder a resistor between 4 and 7. Anyone heard of that? I have a 1/8 watt 330 and a 470. I assume I just solder this in the middle of the wire? Does it matter which way it faces? Also, do I have the diodes correct? Black line down.

No offence dude but thats uber bad JTAG wiring, clean it up, shorten the wires and try xell again. Once you get the blue screen, it means your wirings good.

Dont worry about the db1f1 ive metioned, its not a problem on xenons.

none taken. I get E79 still with a resistor and flashed to xell.bin

are my diodes correct?
