ps3 save in multiple systems possible?

Ok, so I have 2 ps3 and I never thought of doing this cause the situation never presented itself, ok so I was playing GOW 3 in my room and upgraded my tv in the livingroom so I figured I continue my game there, I took a flash drive to my ps3 in the room and transfer the saved game to it. walked over to the one in the LRoom turned on the ps3 started the game and when I was about to load it it wouldn't let me!!! saying something about that file was for another system. so I called sony and they told me that the saves and games are "COPYRIGHTED" material and therefore can only be used in the the system that the game was saved in. so even my save games belong to them!.

my ? is, is there anyway to get around it? thanks

Unless you do a full system transfer, I don't think so. Some games (like God of War 3, apparently) have that check in place for security reasons - probably to keep track of trophies and the like.
