I know you can edit the freestyle dash and put your own backgrounds, etc. Is there a guide somewhere on how to do this?

Go in to your Freestyle folder. In there is a Skin folder. Drop your files in there. Here's a site with some themes. http://spiffy360.com/themes.php What you do is drop the theme folder inside the Skin folder.
