I believe I remember seeing a thread about this awhile back but can't seem to find it with the great search option.

Just curious about the following details-

Motherboard revision -
Average CPU Temp -
Average GPU Temp -
Average EDRAM Temp -
Any extra cooling mods you have done - Example: x-clamp removal, AS5, extra fans, 12v mod, whisper fan.

Thanks.

Edit- Temps at idle
CPU - 50
CPU - 55
EDRAM - 57
Cooling - Whisper fan

Will get temps after playing games.

You are going to melt your igloo if you run your Xenon too long!

Mine run around 60 C all the way around. I have my fan at 100 speed though, or else I run around 70 C at normal fan speed.

Knowledge is power, ignorance is weakness.

Yep, played them both. D.I. surprised me. It didn't seem to get too much hype and it ended up being a really good game. I believe there's some DLC coming out for it pretty soon.

Speaking of console temperatures. It would be useful to know what exact temperature begins to flex the 360 motherboard and melt the solder. It would also be interesting to compare console heat with the dvd drive in and out. Also, how long should a 360 be on for at one time, assuming all or the majority of that time the console is running a game, before damage begins to occur? I'm not talking about getting the two red lights for overheating. I remember stupidly leaving my first 360 (xenon) on for 12 hours straight playing Left 4 dead. I was trying to get the achievement for killing x amount of zombies and I left the console on with an elastic band tying down the right trigger of the controller so there was a full twelve hours of non-stop zombie decimation. When I got up the next morning, I had my achievement and the console had not overheated. The 360 was over three years old at that stage. I then thought it was invincible. I was proved wrong two months later when I got the 0102 error while playing Resident Evil 5. The zombies eventually got me. I could still use the 360 dashboard with the broken console but if I played a game for more than five minutes, it would freeze and I would get the rrod error when I turned the console back on. I'd then let it cool down and repeat the process. I tried the x-clamp fix and screwed up big time. A 0110 error was the outcome of my efforts. Anyway, to my point. My xenon was a pretty tough son of a bitch seen as I abused it so much and yet got so much time out of it. Why then is the average xenon more susceptible to the rrod? I'm referring to any rrod issue caused by flexing of the board. Mainly 0102 error.
