psp 3001 won't read umds

every time i put in a umd it makes a strange clicking sound and it doesnt read the umd. can anyone help?

I would use the warranty cause this sounds like a hardware problem

if u don`t have warranty on it i hope for u that u are under OFW 5.05 so u will be able to play

games from u`r memory stick

if not try to clean the lense with cleaning alcohol and a softpaper for eyeglasses

if nothing works u have to replace it

Don't use alcohol. The lens of the PSP laser isn't made of glass, it's made of plastics. Alcohol corrodes it. The first advice was the best, use the warranty.
