iPad being banned from university campuses

article published on 20 April, 2010

So much for the iPad replacing text books any time soon!

I love the GWU response, they might have just as easily said, "That toy can't even make a secured connection"

Of course it won't. Then the e-text book business will be pirated like the music and film industry. It's no coincidence that these items are not able to log in. It's their way of helping pad and protect the deep pockets of the scum bag text book companies that over charge for books...and change the text books every 2 years to force people to have to buy new.

As I have said before, Apple is a cyber-totalitarian company. Their primary goal: build a device that others pay good money for while they (and only them) decide what you can do with it. Programmers and applications have to be "approved" by them. Standards have to be bent to comply with them. Wow! NO WAY I will ever buy anything Apple.

Reason? Wifi bandwith allocation and security problems? http://j.mp/apple-ipad-banned-in-prestigious-universities
