Robber steals iPad, takes part of man's finger with it

Police in Denver have released a surveillance video showing a thief stealing an iPad from a man leaving the mall, at the same time ripping off part of his left pinky finger.
The victim, Bill Jordan, was buying the tablet device at the Cherry Creek Mall for a co-worker.

I can envision myself stealing lots of things and living with it (not that I ever would), but I seriously don't think I could go on living if I was the guy who ripped off some dude's finger because I wanted an iPad. Especially if they had a picture of me doing it circulating on the news.
If the guy has a brain, he'll either off himself or turn himself in due to sheer embarrassment and shame. If not, he'll probably be caught a few blocks away trying to figure out how to turn on the iPad.

Anyone watch the clip? It was great, the guy who lost his finger kept calling it a "Toy" and saying he would not want one, it was just a corporate gift that his boss asked him to pickup.
I hope the robber looses his whole hand in his next robbery.

Indeed. All this for an electronic device. Can't believe it took his flesh right off, really shows there are just completely mindless zombie Apple addicts out there. Hope Mr. Jordan gets some compensation for this crap, poor guy.

I just saw the video. I am amazed at how cool the guy is even though he lost his finger. he's so calm and collected. The boy who stole it definitely wouldn't have done it purposefully (Ripping his finger) but still.

True, but also look at some of the reasons for this fact.
Look at the conditions a lot of them grow up in not only that but the education received comp. If they were to live in white suburbia where everything is sunshine and roses I'm pretty sure they would turn out completely different. Now, this doesn't justify them doing wrong but the likelihood of them doing it increases. Not everything is so black and white as you make it seem my friend.

I see FP has some balls.. it's not PC crap to give everybody an equal chance in life.. I guess FP has no idea what it is like to be greeted with open hate and discrimination every single day just for being himself.. I suggest a few months in the army in Afghanistan to teach these "white supremacists" a lesson in humility and what it is like to be a hated minority.
It is a human right to choose how to act.. this guy decided to steal something using force.. his colour doesn't matter at all..
