i have a 40g cechg01 that came with a one lens laser
i open it up and see that it's a kem-400aa
i look on a site for the replacement and all i find is kem-400aaa
are these to interchangable?

they are the same thing, KEM 400AAA is actually the complete laser/motor assembly,

whereas KES 400AAA is the part number for just the one lens laser
