I'm trying to play my ps3 online via a mobile broadband, is this possible.
When i connect my laptop to my ps3 my internet connection turn off.

Please help!!!

you can buy can buy a mifi little box from three network that you can use to hook up ur phone laptop ps3 ect using there inbuilt wi-fi . Depends on your coverage for signal as i only use mobile boardband . There 49.99 if you dont like it you get 14 days for refund .

why dont you try using a wireless router?
see set-up below
T----Modem(Broadband)--usb---[]computer---ethernet---Io--wireless router(on internet port)--- PC,PS3,DS,Wii...

There is just some small settings that need changing..
before you dial *#200# or whatever... you'll need to enable ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) - ... Start menu ---- Connect To(Control Panel) -- Show All Connections(Network Connections) and OR(Your Broadband Provider's Dialup) -"R.Click"--Properties --- Advanced (enable ALL Internet Connection Sharing properties for best results)

I was with o2 mobile connect and had it hooked to the best signal i got and just hooked a wifi router to it, worked perfectly, except the part that i only would get 1-2 bars on HSDPA ( that being the best signal in the house, couldnt stand EDGE or GPRS, cuz its not even 1Mb Connection...saying that it was causing intermittent disconnects - being in the sticks sucks, lucky though the exchange here was enabled this month \(^_^)/ ) and that way when you do get broadband you can use the wifi router instead of the poxxy one they gave me( Zyxcel something or other very bad signal throughput 1 bar all through the house.. i have a Netgear WRG54v7 which worked a charm with it)
