Hello
I have been using my Kryptview A750 box for some time now and intermitantly the box freezes and the only method to get it back up and running again is to unplug it for 15mins then its fine. However last weekend it did the usual but when i eventually plugged it back in i have picture on all channels but no sound. Is this most likely to be an hardware issue or could it be linked to the Nagra 3 changes, i am on VMedia.
If it is an Hardware fault am i safe to assume that there is absolutely no point buying a replacement at the moment.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Rubbish!, but seeing as the OP has not updated the thread I would assume he/she has sorted their problem.
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

You are talking rubbish mate the more demand for boxes the more the server will be updated as the demand grows the people that set this up know the limatations and will before it ever gets to the part of it been over loaded will just add more and more ca*** on to the server to accomadate the demand.

no m8 just dont want to see people on her ripped off c/s with cable using cable to update with is not safe maybe if u were using a differnt internet conection may be ok a long as server has not got alot of clients but dot think cable is wy to go also pay per view is only available if the server s for each movie or fight so it all has to be paid for

So essentually what you are saying is that because I brought an IConnect for my Kryptview A750 I got ripped off?
How so?
FWIW, even cs for s*y is fraught with danger - possibilities with getting caught, the server getting raided and shut down etc. No different from cs over cable.
You pay your money, you take your chance.

if you chans are freezing, that could be down to a few things, your cable signal or service, either a disruption or work going on in your area perhaps, your modem or internet service.........
Did you try to reset and rescan the box to see if the chans are back?

Did you put the latest file on your box the 17/5/2010 file if not put that on it make sure you do a factory reset after you do that and then a new scan
the sound is prob down to your scart lead check that for bent pins or loose connections

At no time in the original post does it mention the iconnect so c/s problems is not related. I would imagine the person is in an area not yet affected by N3. As e45 says.

Here is his reply if you want to look below
http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-59/e...8567/10#5141377
and one post you found out of how many boxes sold thats not a bad deal
i have hear'd people say that about sat as well and that is far more likely to have that problem
