This is the tutorial I'm using, but unfortunately it leaves a few questions unanswered that I really need some help on.
First of all: I have a handful of Torx screwdriver heads, most of them say T-15, T-20, or T-25 on them. There are quite a few T-15s of different sizes, so I'm hoping that they'll work for this purpose. Will they?
Second: I also am not sure where to go to figure out if my SATA is compatible. I'm using Windows 7 32-bit Professional. How can I determine if I can use Jungleflasher and iXtreme? I need to know so that I can go ahead and disable VIA.
That's about it for now. I'll keep updating this as I go along, and asking questions if I need to. Thanks in advance for all who post and attempt to help: I really do appreciate it.
Bump! I'd really appreciate some answers... I'm having a tough time beginning all of this without the proper steps I should take.
In the meantime I'm cuing some 360 games to patch and burn once I've got everything ready. On my computer I have Jungleflasher v0.1.73 Beta (108) and the BenQ 1.61 Firmware in the firmware folder, all ready and set to go. Just need to know if a) the screwdrivers will work and b) what I need to do about SATA and VIA.
