One day when turned on my system and put game it did not ride it. So i take the system apart and notice that laser didn't read the game or motor spin the game but the motor that moves the laser up and down worked. when i pushed the laser to the top it would slide down to the center where the that thing that spins the game.

the laser has died, the laser needs to shine correctly for the motor to rotate the disc, new lasers are available on Ebay if you feel you could fit one DIY, or send it to Sony for repair, or see if there is a console repairer in your area as they will be cheaper than Sony
