I saw your last post get flagged and wanna help you out.

On forums like these talking about downloading games and what not is prohibited. We can tell you how to install custom firmwares and what not, but what you do with it is entirely up to you. If you want to find out how to download games, the internet is overflowing with information regarding that. *cough* google *cough*

Okay, now to your dilemma:

You got a big break having a psp 3000 with OFW 5.02 installed. You'll need to follow these steps:

1. Update your firmware to 5.03 Sony Official
2. Use ChickHEN/MHUSpeedv3 to enter HEN mode
3. Use HellCat's recovery flasher to flash directly to 5.00M33 - Or install 5.50GEN-D3

i may be wrong but i do not think that is possible. you can use chicken to to install 5.03 GEN-C for HEN. i think that is all that is possible.

as a matter of fact i just watched the video that you made reference to, and it says this does not work on a 3000.

parts 1 and 2 are correct - but you then cannot flash using Hellcats as this will brick the psp - look at adding 5.03 genc firmware - it is not flashed but held in memory, turn the PSP completely off and it is gone - you have to start again. There are little programs to prevent the PSP ever being turned off (just power going dead to worry about)
