Just to let people know I have 2 boxes. Eurovox in the sitting room and the box t in the bedroom and both now just say no signal.tried a rescan and still nothing so that's it I suppose cable areas in limerick went in mid febuary so I got few more months out of it I suppose.I've had it for last 3years so can't complain I suppose. I will hold on to the boxes they may be of some use 1 day.if anyone else in limerick mmds area had this issue just wanted to let ye know ye were not going mad it's happening to a few people last few days.

i would have suspected that you should still be able to scan a set of channels but would be unable to open them. is this not true? is it not the case that the channels exist on the same frequencies but simply the encryption on these frequencies has changed or have i got this wrong?

i get what your saying... i did not touch my eurovox in the sitting room and all channels are back.. they just read no signal overnight and now are all back. i did not touch that box. same error was in my bedroom(no Signal) i rescanned or factory reset my Box T and channels were coming back as TV 4101... 4102...etc...etc.. and only get the odd channel back like rte1 or sky news.. everything else is scrambled or bad channel. i then tried manual frequencys and same thing...

so my question is how come eurovox is back from a no signal to woking fine to the box t not picking them up again.. both boxes work from same aerial. so should i not be able to get them back on the box t.. or the fact i went factory reset and rescan is thats whats screwed me. i should have left it alone i suppose.

any thoughts would be appreicated.

i think youre problem now is that the emu needs to be switched to on for the the box t cause the emu is always on for eurovox thats why it works press menu highlight installation then enter 1570 switch key emu on then exit a couple of times and you should be fine and yes there was a problem yesterday also in my area sound was ok but no picture and sometime last nite all was restored happy viewing

Thanks.. Much appreicated. this worked perfect.. everything back.. one thing though. when i rescan and they all come back they are no names assigned to the channels just TV 4101...etc.. is there anyway to fix this or is it just tough luck and start renaming them...

just to add one more thing to pudzys comment try rescanning again without split cable, use main feed comming in only then you can hook youre second box up when finished....

Pudzy, now its nice to see people with knowledge. wud you be interested in putting a post together on the n3 angle. i could do it but you have better knowledge. as said before i know sat cs and while i do know a bit of other sharing i have no doubt u know a lot more. would u be interested in sharing with afterdawn what digital-kaos is very good at describing. i take other comments that there many boxes out there that do not challenge. but u do know the dreambox game and would appreciate hearing your view

no worries pudzy, just thought it would be interesting to see how a dreambox can still be used with n3. while there have been many posts on the sv6 and the iconnect(kryptview), there is little to no information on how the dreambox can be used on nthell or chokus. i know there are users out there who would really appreciate a post that would show what is possible with their dm500-c boxes
