And even with the price difference this is sure to sell because of 1) 360 fanboys and
2) the world being full of idiots too lazy to use google and figure out how to setup a regular USB themselves.

Yeah, the corporations are evil b/c they are taking advantage of the fact that people are too ignorant to know any better. Governments also take advantage of this fact and have been screwing the people over since the beginning of time.

If true, that would be an unthinkably idiotic business move typical of Microsoft. I mean Sony would never scale back functionability of their unit in any way. What you say? Firmware update, no more linux support? Hmmm, back to the drawing board.

I never said sony was a good company. Personally, the PS3 is a better system for my needs (even without linux)...but I can see how some people might be better off with an XboX...at least if all their friends have one, or if they are pirates.

That said, I would be greatly surprised to see Sony remove flash drive support, and I would not be at all surprised to see microsoft do the same, as they already did it with the memory cards. Tell the truth, I would be much more surprised if they don't remove 3rd party flash drive support...you can get drives that are cheaper and faster than the sandisk unit, so Microsoft will try to do something about that.

Not putting down either system or people who use them although I do hate fanboyism on any level...just saying this type of business model is par for the course nowadays.

They actually recently just added the support, so I doubt it's going anywhere.

Ya those 2 are the same thing..oh wait no one uses linux anyway besides people trying to crack the ps3...back to playing pirated games on the 360 because buying games would be stupid of anyone owning one. big difference in security of the 2 and quality.

So you think that OtherOS is the PS3's strongest feature? Besides, they removed for their system's security.
I'm all for it.

I don't. Feel like going through it all again, but removing linx did nothing for the security, and will lead to the security being broken sooner.

Stop being a fanboy...sony is 100% in the wrong on this one.
