Market research firm Changewave has released their recent survey results today, which reveals that over half of current Verizon subscribers would trade in their phone for an Apple iPhone if it was available on the carrier.
The company polled 4000 mobile phone users.
Of those polled with Verizon subs, 19 percent said they would "very likely" purchase a Verizon iPhone, while another ... [ read the full article ]

verizon subscribers are edited by ddp.. they proved it already.. they are VERIZON subscribers!!!
guess it makes sense to a redneck.. on an overpriced shitty network, may as well have an overpriced shitty fone to match.. cud yud yud yud..
the only way to get a fair deal out of these cartels is to buy when and as you use.. and forget the "free" fone.. check the plans.. you pay 2-3x retail for the thing.

Derogatory comments aside, I'd have to disagree with you about Verizon. I've traveled through over dozen states in the last five years, and I have friends in those states and others. I have Sprint but Sprint can only roam on Verizon. [Alltel was crappy before the buyout so they don't count IMHO]. EVERY TIME I'm in an area where Sprint can't get service, Verizon has never failed. Not once. Quite a few of my friends have Verizon, Only about 1 in 20 have ever complained. Verizon may totally blow in some markets, but overall they have the most reliable service in my experience.

I am a LONG time T-Mobile subscriber but I can say fully that Verizon has the best network in the United States, hands down. Overpriced? Yes.. CDMA sucks? Yes... Strong network tho.
Yeah...it sucks that verizon is the best network, but it is a fact. If you want full coverage, you are stuck with verizon (or roaming on verizon's network from some other phone). Anyway, if AT&T or sprint or t-mobile had the best coverage, then their rates would be just as bad as Verizon's rates.
Get a droid, root it, and install Skype...then get the 450 minutes/unlimited data plan and you have unlimited calling and unlimited internet (with wifi tethering) for about $90 a month, taxes included.
Originally posted by I use AT&T & hate It: It seems like the Verizon/Spring MiFi is the best solution available, since you can use your IPhone, IPad, and will join all of these into a wifi spot to interchage data instead of the useless AT&T charge for each of the IPhone, IPad, and still not be able to connect the near devices through a wifi spot.
Being an AT&T customer for many years, and hating it, I am thinking to go the Sprint/Verizon MiFi way. It's a lot better and will enable me to use my IPad, IPhone, etc. without being ripped off by data charges. Though, I haven't check what is the MiFi data charges yet..
I agree. I was a T-mobile user before, because of a good feature of Verizon provider then recently I subscribe to them.
