Just got a fat PS3 with 3.01, and want to retain my install other OS option. I am thinking about buying battlefield Bad Company 2, but was wondering if it makes you update past 3.15 or remove other OS?

Yes you have to update and lose other OS but you can do this

Unfortunately, that method no longer works. There's no longer any way to bypass the 3.21 check.
