You need a damn code or pay $10 to play any online game type starting with Tiger Woods 11 and then NCAA Football 11, NHL 11, Madden NFL 11, NBA 11, FIFA 11, and EA Sports MMA.
How the hell we going to get by that?

Yep, it's true. Read about it last night on Destructoid.
And really, I'm not surprised game publishers didn't start this sooner from a business standpoint it makes perfect sence to do it.
New games will come with a one time use code to access online multiplayer. So if someone uses the code then sells/trades the game, the new buyer has to pay for a new code.
I believe I read that there will be a 7 day free access without the code. That's to cover those who only rent games.

I don't think its about making money off of the pirates rather making money off of those who purchase used games. This would just promote more piracy. Who would want to pay full price and an additional $10.
