I've this new jasper (liteon drive). I just modded it with ixtreme LT 1.1 firmware.

Now I want to update the console to enable the USB drive support. My question is, is it safe to do it with the ixtreme firmware?

It is recommended by the firmware creators to have stock firmware on the drive, then apply the system update. Whether this process is "safe" and will keep you from a ban is still unknown.

went stock, then updated with a spoofed lite0n appearing to be a benQ.
so far so good, for the last 30 days i have been playing MWII with game update on CFW.

even survide the last hammer, then i just saw MW black ops coming out around the same time it did last year... hum, you guys smell that???
