Hey, I have the discs but they scratched as a mofo so I downloaded an some eboots but they were dodgy and froze so Downloaded a multi eboot, works fine, just need to know how to grab my old saves from the old single eboots that is sitting in savedata?

P.S I don't have enough space for both ff8s on my memcard at one time :/

Find the save (it has the game icon in the savedata folder)
Save it on your pc - start the new game, it will create a new save data folder for this games ID number.
copy the param.sfo & Savedata.bin from your old save to this folder.

If they are compatible then this will work.

Theres no savedata.bin, just config(which is a bin file) ICON0, PARAM.SFO, SCEVMCO.VMP and SVEVMC01.VMP.... When I replace the PARAM file, and try start the game, I get the error - "Game could not be started. (80000004).. Any ideads?
