Hi, i am VERY new to this whole burning and playing backups on my 360,
i modded my box the other night with iXtreme, using slax to get the drive into Mode B, and all that sorta stuff, i think it has worked properly.. but my problem is this..

i backed up my game of Alan wake and i have tryed burning it to disk twice (dual layer ofcourse), once using imgBurn and once using a program called cookies 360 game burner, now i have two completely different results here, il start with imgBurn...

imgBurn:
the game burnt fine to disk, it required me to burn it via the .DVD file,
but the game does not run in my 360, it just says.. disk may be dirty, please remove and clean.. well.. along those lines :D

Cookies 360 program thingy:
game burnt to DL using just the .iso file, no problems during burning, but when i place into 360 it comes up with the Alan Wake logo on the play game menu.. you know were you choose who to sign in as and all that stuff, but when i go to run the game it just goes blanc, the console does nothing until i take the disk out then it returns to the main menu..

sorry for the essay, mabye someone knows what im doing wrong..??
im open to suggestions and whatever you say i will try :D

thank you SOO much for you time :P

Laser is probably going out...also it may have been burnt at too high of a speed. Burn it at 2x for best results and see if that helps anything. Using bad media discs can also be the reason. Verbatim discs are the best out there. ImgBurn has to use the .DVD file though and other programs still use it but automatically read it if it's under the same file as the iso(this is what I think)
