Been using my PS3 mostly as a BR player and I've only got two games (from around 3 years ago lol). Any suggestions on some good games that are around $20 or $30?

Bioshock. Best PS3 game I have ever played, hands down. Can be had for $20 or less nowadays.

Besides that... Call of Duty 4? It might not be down to the $30 mark yet, but if it is, you should definitely get it.

Assassin's Creed is always good, and MGS4 might be up your alley if 1.) it's down to $30 and 2.) you can stand the ridiculously overwrought story packaged with it.

But I dunno. Depends on what you like, I suppose.

Thanks! I was looking more for PS3 only titles. I have a 360 as well and have/played all those games. I do agree though, Bioshock is an amazing game!

Oh. Duh me. :P

WELL... The God of War Collection (God of War 1 and 2) should be just around $30 now, if not less. They're still awesome games, if you don't mind the somewhat dated graphics. (Though I suppose that's stretching things a bit. They still both have ridiculous graphics.)

Little Big Planet might be up your alley if you're into level creation and platforming. That said, LBP2 is coming out this winter, and it's supposed to have a feature that allows you to create your own games out of it (like side-scrolling shooters, puzzle games, etc.).

MGS4 is still a good choice. Again, if you can stomach the godawful storytelling.

The Ninja Gaiden Sigmas are also good. The first more than the second, but mostly because the second suffers from the same stupid pitfalls of cheap deaths that the original Ninja Gaiden 2 does.

For shooters, Resistance: Fall of Man are good. The first one gets a bit tedious and samey after a while, but it's still a good game. The second one I haven't played yet, but I've heard it's a bit better (but also probably a bit more expensive).

...and I'm just grabbing all these games off of Wikipedia, so maybe you should check there instead. You can list the games by exclusivity, release date, name, etc., so finding one within your price range shouldn't be too difficult.

EDIT:

And also the Uncharted games. I've played the second one, it's great, and the first one is just as good.

Thanks I appreciate the help. I have the first uncharted and I love it. I'll check out that link as well.

Here is a up-to-date list of PS3 Exclusives:

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=858296

GT5P is a decent game if you have a USB racing wheel...but the controls are terrible on the controller.

Anarchy: Rush Hour is a fun little game, but it does not last long enough (unless you chase down all the trophies).

Burn Zombie Burn is a fun little timewaister...almost like an iPhone app all grown up.

Playstation Home is free...and there are numerous free games within.

Hyperballoid HD is a nice game if you like those kinds of games.

Lemmings - one of the best lemmings games made.

PAIN! - I liked this one, some others hated it. Very few got even one trophy. There are a lot of addons, so realize that the low price you pay to buy the game will only give you a couple of levels.

Smash cars - race RC cars on the beach, the sidewalk, etc...a fun driving game if you don't like driving games, and it plays good on the control pad.

Zen Pinball - It is pinball.
