My 360 controller was working find up until the left analog button started sticking to the left. Whenever I try to move left will be held either for a two seconds longer, or it will continue to be pressed down even if I remove my finger from the analog stick. To make matters worse I've tried taking a toothpick to get out the dust between the cracks, as well as applying alcohol to the affected analog stick. So far all have met with failure.

Also, just for that extra touch of frustration, even though I have a T9 screwdriver, some of the screws refuse to come out. Since I can't seem to remove some of the screws despite how much pressure I apply taking apart the controller no longer seems to be an option now. As a result does anyone have any idea on how to either remove the screws to do some deeper cleaning, or better yet, ways to solve the problem that doesn't involve opening it (or buying a new one).

Controllers need a T6 screwdriver I believe.. There is a screw under a bar code under the battery incase you missed it. You need to take it apart.

That's kind of the problem; I've tried a T6 and none of the screws will turn. I've tried a T7-T8 and none of them worked, so a T9 is the only option left through the process of elimination. I have tried bigger sizes, just in case, but no luck there either. So far it seems that T9 is the only one that has a chance to turn the screws, or at the very least, that's the only one I've had any luck with in using.

I assume the reason for this is because of the thing in the middle. Basically all the Torx screwdrivers I use don't have a hole in the middle, so it appears I got the right size, but not the right type of screwdriver. So other than ordering a T8H screwdriver I'm looking for better alternatives.
