I have got recently a modded xbox 360, but is banned from xbox live. I know is a noob question since I'm new in the topic but it's there any way to unban an xbox 360?

If it was banned in the November 2009 wave... No.

If it was banned before November 2009 and has not received any system updates... Yes.

But the process to unban a console is lengthy and in depth. You are betting off spending $200 on a new console.

A friend gave me an xbox 360 that is not working fine and it's not banned, what should be the process to unbann my xbox 360 that works fine??

Is there any tutorial?

Assuming that both systems are dash 2.0.7371.0 and exploitable, you would need to solder in the JTAG connection and dump both NANDS. Then inject the non-banned KeyVault into the NAND of the banned 360. At this point I believe you could go online. Only problem is you would be forced to update to the latest dash (2.0.9199.0) which blows your CPU fuses. As for going online with a different KeyVault, it is said to be highly detectable. You may get banned in minutes, you may get banned in days.

Like I said, you are better off buying a new console.... or fix the broken one.
