Well a noob to this area but i understand how to fix most things on XBOX 360 i just need to know how to flash it where it will work otherwise i have two big paperweights. thanks in advance

ok i get an error or will say an Orginal Xbox 360 game is only a DVD and i understand that some drives will work on the console i just need a lot of nudging in the right direction, I have both a Samsung and a HL and neither will work on this console that i bought used just trying to make it read Orignal games not burned disk or hacks. Any help would be appreciated. I was told there might be a DVD key generator that might be able get and take care of this problem and just flash the correct firmware. I know i am kinda confusing with the way i write i hope it makes enough sense.

Idk about a DvD Key Generator existing for 360 drives seeing how you have to match your exact key to you specific drive. Anywho, you can always retrieve the key from the original drive of your 360 console if it haven't been completely wiped of its firmware. As of switching drives you can get the same exact drive(Model and all) and replace it's firmware with the original FW from the old drive or switch out the PCBs...which ever one your more comfortable with. You can find the tutorials for each online just by googling ^_^

If you no longer have the original firmware (or drive key), maybe you should look in to the JTAG hack to get these (only works with 7 series dash and below)
