Verizon says they are releasing the update for the Droid sometime next month...hopefully I will have a rooted copy on my phone before then! I've already downloaded my copy of the SDK.

I'll be happy with a Shoels (is that how you spell it?) version...but I would like smoked glass too. Maybe DroidMod will just skip 2.1, and release a 2.2...I sure hope so; DroidMod was my favorite 2.0.1 rom.
