I get this error when I try to dump from the dash. This box is already Jtagged and doesn't have any wires in place. I wanted to update to freeboot without having to resolder boards or wires (plus I don't have any). Can it be done with this error? I have no backup either.

Looks like you have a bad block. That "ERROR" message it the same as what Nandpro would give you.

Flash the latest XeLLous and try dumping that way. Then once you get the dump and make a FB image, flash with XeLLous again as it reallocates bad blocks.

Like I said I don't have a backup. If I flash with XeLLous, I won't be able to go back to the orig_nand? I am also running XBR3 on this box. So basically update the image with FB and flash back to xellous and it should fix the issue? Maybe I can do this all with a flash drive?

You flash XeLLous over the existing XeLL that is in XBR3. In the instructions of Flash360 it tells you what to name XeLLous to (can't remember). Once you flash XeLLous, that will allow you to connect to the 360 via Firefox and dump the XBR3 NAND. From there, you can build a FB image from the XBR3 dump.

What about the flashdmp.bin you got when you first ran Flash360. You should be able to extract out your important info with NandPRO...

I can try that. What do I need to do in nandpro to see if it corrects it?

Well from that first dump you got from Flash360, in Nandpro type:

nandpro flashdmp.bin: -r16 kv1.bin 1 1

nandpro flashdmp.bin: -r16 config1.bin 3de 2

That should at least get you the KV and Config from the NAND. You also have the CPU key right?

Looks like I don't have xell. Is is safe to flash with xell if I don't have a backup? I did what you stated above and working on getting the cpu key now. If all fails, I want to be able to go back. I need to do all this from the flash drive.
