I posted something somewhere else on this site too but idk where it went lol. I'm new to forums and new to flashing so sorry. Ok, I want to flash my lite on 83850c v2 drive and I was wanting to get some feedback on the cheapest and fastest way to do it. Basically what I want to know is what things will I need to buy to flash it? I know I'll need to get the sata card, jungle flash program, and a flash kit so to speak. I was also wondering if I could get the new vampire probe and use that with the ck3 lite since its cheap and I'm poor as hell lol. If I'm all wrong plz set me straight and tell me ALL the things I'll need to successfully flash my drive. ty in advance.

Knew i shouldn't have relied on someone to give a real answer. I dint edited by ddp ask how I could find a thread someone else wrote, I asked what I would need and if that combination of ck3 lite and vampire probe would work! In the time you spent being a rude smart ass you could have answered my question both of you! I know how to use google retard, however I don't wanna sit and search through 60 site's to find 2 answer that could have been easily answered here. So if this gets removed because I got shitty oh well tell you're members to be helpful, not get on here to give opinions. So if anyone else is gonna be a smart ass I'm not gonna take your advice if my question gets answered great, if not then I was right for never using forums before this. Most forums are full of know it all edited by ddp who just wanna rag on everyone much like this one!

The reason there are so many threads to search through on google in the first place are because of questions like these that have already been answered many times over. I'm not trying to be rude and the boys above on this thread have helped many people out in the past, numerous times, people like yourself.
But to answer your question, yes those will work. If you want to be even cheaper, you can solder points on on the drive (r707 points I believe), and I believe you're also supposed to pull the ribbon cable out of the laser before you flash. I'm not 100% sure about this flashing method since I've never done it myself, but you can search for it on google!
"All drives should be updated to Lite Touch + (LT+) firmware if playing on XBOX live. Samsung drives and pre-78/79 Hitachi drives do not utilize AP 2.5. All other drives are considered to be detectable by Microsoft (YMMV). Make sure all rips are ABGX verified, contain SSv2, and patched AP2.5 (where needed). XGD3 must currently be burned on new drive with PC Burner Max firmware for 100% rip. All modded consoles can be potentially unsafe for use on XBOX live."

You need to Google connectivity kits.
You need to Google dual point probes.
You need to Google Jungle Flasher.
You need to Google to Google Port I/O drivers.
You need to Google iXtreme LT 1.1.
You need to Google Sata VIA 6421.
And if you don't want to Google any of this, try Yahoo or Bing. They work too.

i second what eebeejay stated. also, in the time it took you to make your first post, you could have GOOGLED 'how to flash a lite-on 83850C V2' and im sure the VERY FIRST LINK would have gave you a list of EVERYTHING that you needed to buy, and more than likely how to flash the stupid drive.

Well thanks to the one guy that was the least sarcastic. The rest of you as I said wasted your time writing google this google that, a simple list of all I needed would have been enough. I love how you're all a tight knit little group though LMAO at you all holding hands! People come here to get help and asses like yourselves are why forums suck, and also why there are so many threads to search through. People would rather tell you all the ways to get the info you want instead of just sharing the knowledge. If you already answered a question 50 times then skip over the thread and close your edited by ddp!
