i need help please!!....i hav a starview hd box,and ever since i hav got it,i hav had problems with it switching its self off and re-booting itself,this can happen maybe 6 or 7 times a day ,and then it can go days without it doing it.I did buy this box from a very good dealer ,and i hav had many boxs from them,and had no problems.just wondering if any one has the same problem ,thanks!!

your box should not be doing that
id recommend ringing your supplier and asking will he replace it for you

i only get that prob when i update the EPG so it shows the full week

if its under warranty, why null it by opening it, contact your supplier and advise them of the issue

it is still under warrenty but cant be bothered sending it back i would like to try and fix it myself, what does replace the caps mean?

it means soldering it, removing caps from the board and replacing them with new ones, so if your handy with soldering / electronics, fire away, if not, you will end up with a dead box, thats if it is the cap or caps gone. So unless ya know what yer doing, I wouldnt touch it
