Does anyone know about converting a movie to play on the XBOX 360?

I found the link http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/...on_xbox_360.cfm

It sounds like I do not have the update for avi format. I have the new dashboard. The guide seems to be saying that imgburn can put avi movies on a DVD in a manner that will have the XBOX 360 read them even without the update.

I cannot find anything on imgburn that says how to do this.

That sounds good.

What I did was buy some cheap +R's 25 for $5.99 (Radio Shacks brand) so I will just burn a DVD for each stupid update that Microsoft has.

The movies should play once I update.

It turns out that Microsoft does not offer a download for the video update that I need. Microsoft calls it an optional update and tells you to tell a neighbor or a friend to let you use his XBOX 360 adapter and his broadband to connect to XBOX Live.
