i was reading some of the guides. someone in there was talking about newsgroups instead of using torrents to get isos. can you suggest me the name of a few good newsgroups that have a good selection of newer wii games and is relaible. what do you think of newsgroups. i had never heard of this way to download

IF you use torrents then stick with torrents. Newsgroups (IMO) is parallel to torrents. Besides, things come out faster on torrents than newsgroups.

Torrents are slow as you are getting the data from a user therefore you are limited to their upload speeds. You also have to upload in return which reduces your download speeds even further.

You also are sharing your IP address and this makes torrents a bit scary in my opinion. But you know what they say about opinions.

any method of allowing us to get digital files via the internet is a good thing, but usenet is faster, more reliable, and more secure than torrents. It also cost money though and torrent are free.

I only use Usenet NEwsgroups and have for over 10 years. Gignews is the provider I use. 24.99 a month for unlimited access. Speed are at the limit of my internet so I can actually get an entire Wii game image in about 35 minutes with Comcast's new 12MB a second connection.

If you havent tried out usenet I reccommend giving it a try. You wont be sorry.
