My friend offered to sell me his RROD Xbox for a repair but after looking at it the secondary error code says its a 0102 error. It this fixable with the Xecuter RROD kit? That seems to be the best kit and fixes multiple problems better than the X-Clamp. If so how long has this fix lasted for anyone who had this specific error? I've read that the 0102 error is harder to fix and just needed input.

As infamous says, you need a reflow here. The xclamp fix alone will work for a short period, but oxidisation will still build up in the small cracks in the solder.

Ok. I'm going to try this kit and if that fails I'll probably have to try to reflow it. Anyone have a guide or a link that could help me I've never heard of reflowing or how to do it.

I've got a reflow tutorial in my signature that's been pretty helpful for a lot of folks on here. If you get the x-clamp kit then basically the only other thing you need is a heatgun. Listen to what miketrev said and go ahead and do the reflow. 0102 comes from breaks in the solder and when you allow oxidation to build up in the cracks by not reflowing it makes it harder to repair. Simply replacing the x-clamps and/or overheating wont fix the cracks.
