Ghostbusters (PAL) With USB Loader

Hi, there's a few thread about this subject on here, and I have been trying out some of the suggestions without success.

One thing that I haven't seen mentioned is whether I should allow the system update to take place when I run it from the original disc. My menu system is quite old (3.1E) and I don't want the update to bust my current setup of letting me play my games through the USB loader.

Like other posters I have seen, I'm getting the black screen, but do I need to let the update happen or should it work without?

Any suggestions from other peoples experience would be helpful.

You can install the IOS Ghostbusters needs to run without updating your wii's firmware.

Find the IOS Ghostbusters uses on that page, then use WAD Manager to install it.

Hi - thanks for you reply.

I found and downloaded IOS53-64-4113 and installed it using the WAD manager.

It didn't work, and I tried setting 002 fix to true with vidpath set to auto on USB Loader as some posts have suggested, but no success I'm afraid.

Do you have this working from the USB loader ?

No, I don't use a modded wii, but try using cIOS38_rev13, as according to these threads:

Hi, yep that seems to have fixed it after working out how to install it.

I also had to switch over which USB port my HDD was attached to - not sure what that was about, got a shock when I got the USB loader up and it said no games installed !

Anyway, thanks for your help, time to do some bustin' !!
