Darkcorp or Pimp My Wii?

hey guys. My girlfriend has asked me to mod her wii... anyway I recently winged it with mine and some how it came out perfect using darkcorp virgin install. Anyway im trying to follow a guide that says use pimp my wii after installing HBC. Is this needed? or can I simply use the Darkcorp virgin install? I looked at the IOS's and there all almost the same. Thank you for all your help!

neither. just bannerbomb to get HBC and bootmii/priiloader installed, then use dop-mii to patch and update the IOS's, install cIOSX_rev19 and hermes 222/223v5, and then install configurable usb loader. done deal.

Be careful with using Darkcorp, it can lead to banner/theme bricks that take ages to fix, if they can be fixed.
