Backbreaker only 1GB installed to HDD?

I know games are a little smaller when you install them to the HDD but this goes from 7GB on the disc to 1GB on the HDD. It's great for people like me who only have a 20GB HDD. But how is this possible?

If the finished game is 5GB, then 2.29GB of "padding" to make the game 7.29GB in size.
So I'm guessing Backbreaker has 6.29GB of "padding".
Only game I've seen that small was Raiden IV which was about a half GB.

What's the padding (all 0's or all 1's?) and why is it needed on the disc?

thats nothing. backyard sports super slugger...7.29 like normal game....extracted 684 megs.

as so why all the padding, its to make the console recognize it as a 360 game BIFF0
