Hey Guys,

I am as noobie as it gets. I have managed to fumble my way through installing the Home brew channel. I have even installed uloader as a channel, but that's where it stops.

I have no idea what a CIOS even is or what version I have. All I am trying to do is install the opera web browser wad file so I can run orb to view video via my wii. I run the wad manager and it asks me what CIOS to use....I have no idea.???? anyone. I picked 249 and it come up with error ret-1029.

Hope that is enough info to help, I have the guide i used at home on how i installed the uloader as a channel, I assume that was installed as a wad file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated .

Im almost positive Opera Browser is free to download in WiiShop channel .

Is this a new Wii Unmodded besides the Homebrew Channel you installed .

It was bought July 09, it has Homebrew channel and a uloader channel and all works fine.
