-hardware NEC 2500A 8X DVD burner
-512 MB
-1.8G P4

-after i using the nero vision express, combine 2 movies in 1 DVD everything going well. after that im copy the movies to HD i got error

-i been usud both DVD shrink and DVD decrypter

*someone help me, Please

If you only want to check if your drive is working just burn a single movie backup & forget about combining 2. The quality of your output will be relatively poor if you combine 2 movies, with your chosen method.

Make life easy..do yourself a favour & walk before running.

I agree with brian, you will lose quality. Shrinking 2 7+GB movies onto a 4.7GB disk is alot of compression.

i did try burn single movie from backup like you say but i got same error after 10min. (nero vision expess)

also i did try Nero express only, after i add the files and NEXT and the BURN botton want hinglight like my comp. dont have DVD burner ...

lilbabi, have you just tried Shrink and Decrypter? Cut out using Nero.
Open shrink --> Open disc --> click "backup!" --> change target destination to "ISO Image File" --> check box to Launch DVD Decrypter --> click ok.

Also couple questions: Have you ever been able to backup movies? What operating system you running? And last, have you ever updated your aspi layer?

Are your optical drives running in Ultra DMA Mode 2? If not, make sure they are. Also what brand media are you using? If you are using cheap, cheap, cheap media the drive may just not like it. It's possible and always something worth looking into.
