Boost Mobile, the American prepaid cell carrier has announced today the launch of the Motorola i1, the world's first Android touchscreen device with "push-to-talk" walkie-talkie features.
The smartphone will be available through Boost, Best Buy, and Best Buy Mobile stores.

Boost is terrible...if you need to contact someone so bad that push to talk is important to you, then you need a network that will actually contact them.

I never tried their iDEN/Push To Talk stuff but they say it's for Firefighters or for people who are on the go or something.
I've been a user of Boost for the past 3 years and have never had a problem. It's the best prepaid for the money and has worked for me from Texas to Florida without a problem. I look forward to finding out the price for the new handset.

i used to work for boost mobile cust service and i can tell you for sure that is one of the worst carriers in the country,there are outages all the time,management forces employees to LIE TO THE CUSTOMERS about transactions,about the locations of the call centers,about network repair times etc etc,steer clear from boost if you can
