360 wave patcher error on install

So I'm trying to patch some wave 4/5/6 games to wave 3 to be able to play on my brother in-law's 360. It was modded by someone other than myself and I'm not sure on what version of iXtreme he has, but I know it is not 1.61 as my wave 4 boot disc and games won't play. So in order to save myself some time I thought I would use a 360 wave patcher to try and revert back to an older wave. I tried PPF-O-Matic and that didn't work, and when I try to install 360 Waves Patcher I get an error right away that reads: "Echec de l'ouveture du fichier C:\DOCUME~1\Alex\LOCALS~1\Temp\WD_B0D.tmp\INSTALL.ZIP. L'installation est abandonnée." which my yahoo babel fish translator tells me translates to roughly "Failure of opening of the [file above] installation is abandoned."

So yeah, anyone have any other methods or ways to get this damn thing installed?

I got exactly same error today... Who can upload the installed version ( I mean C:Programfiles>360wavepatcher in rar) ? I think problem is happening on download. When it's starting download I'm getting error.

I am trying to install on a win 7 64 bit computer.
