i have a banned xbox that has a benq drive that had 1.6 on it. juz got the firmware updated to lite on 1.1. so that means i should be able to play backups of wave 5 and 6 games? ive made backups of lost planet 2 and red dead redemption and i put the discs in the xbox and they come up with disc unreadable error im sure they r gud rips. do i need sum sortof a wave 5 and 6 update for my xbox since its not on live? do i hav to run the originals b4 i can play the backups? someone please help...

Disc unreadable is not a Firmware issue that is likely bad media or bad lens. If it tells you play DVD that means you have a Firmware issue.

it says play dvd than a sign cums up saying cant read media? my wave 1 to 4 games run sweet juz not the latest 5 and 6 and ive juz got lite on 1.1 installed to? im ripping my games with a lite on dual layer drive using wx ripper. is that the problem?
