New York Times bans the word "Tweet" from paper

The international newspaper The New York Times has announced today that the word "Tweet," used to describe the action of writing a message on Twitter, has been banned from the paper, in print and online. it is a private newspaper so do whatever they want. I don't "tweet" anyway and it is stupid how these phrases come and go like some middle school girls' typing away on their IM's.

once you've established that Twitter is the medium, simply use 'say' or 'write.'

For real! All the yanks do is eliminate "u" from certain words and put in a "z" because of how it sounds ...
