Hi, could anyone tell me if this guide is accuarate here as it seems to be the only guide on afterdawn. This one looks a lot easier, can anyone tell me if this works? I cant get my CPU key as xell doesnt load so the latter one would be better for me.

Without the CPU key you won't be able to build a freeboot image. You'll need to get that before you can continue.
The Sevensins tutorial is just a way of flashing freeboot.

questioning my guide, how dare you, lol. if you cant get xell to load, you can always update xell to xellous and that should load for you.

Can you guys tell me if I can flash xellous without having to reconnect back up to my NAND?

Download XeLLous from Xbins
Extract contents of Flash360.zip to a folder
Copy that folder to the root of your Xbox 360 HDD
Extract xell-2f.bin from XeLLous.zip and rename it to updslot0.bin
Copy updslot0.bin to a USB stick and put it in your 360
Start XeXMenu, Navigate to the root of you HDD and run Flash360.xex
Press button B, press button A.
Follow on screen instructions to exit and shut down from Flash360 (do not exit via guide button)
Once console has shut down, remove power for at least 30 seconds to allow for a complete reinitialization of console.
Remove USB stick
Replace power and boot console via the eject button to boot into XeLLous.
Is this correct?

I haven't tried it yet, I watched Ali G with the kids last night after tea and then fell asleep, ill be trying this tonight now im all rested up. Wish me luck!

Managed to get my CPU key thanks, quick question before i flash the nand, does my original NAND have to be 7371? it was from the old style dash and i didnt update before I updated to XBRv3

no since all you do is update the current XBR image. Use freeboottoolbox maker. You'll thank me later.
