If anyone has the guide backed up somewhere, that'd be great! Or if someone's been into CFW lately, than I have, could probably give me a better guide to follow
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

Well that sucks.
Like I said on the first post, the guide I used has been deleted. Is there a new way or maybe even the guide I used backed up somewhere with the links still up? I'm running at 5.00 M33-3 (am I actually missing out on some new firmware by Dark-Alex?)
Sorry for the double post, but I just remembered my brother got rid of his PSP that was also hacked and I know (the way I used to know at least) you needed another one that already had CFW.
Are there any easy to follow guides where it's possible to put CFW on a PSP without another PSP that already has CFW? By the way, Dark-Alex CFW seems reliable, but I keep hearing more of this "HEN" that's out there. Can ya fill me in on that?
Also: I know that there's a "2nd batch" that seems unhackable. Is there a way to tell and is there another way to hack it?
Just update your PSP with 6.20, you don't have custom firmware then anymore, but I don't know if some remains stay in the flash. Unhackable PSPs are the 3k's and later 2k's, if you have a 2k that is not modified check the date code on the sticker under the battery. Anything above 8c is unhackable.
HEN is only a homebrew enabler for those PSPs stuck on official firmware 6.20. Far from as good as custom firmware. Dark-Alex quit making new firmware (some say Sony pinned him down legally, but that's just rumor). The latest firmware is 5.50 GEN-D3 (if you count Prometheus as a standalone firmware that one is the latest ofcourse).
About the hacking a PSP without an already hacked one: Forum search chickHEN or Pandora Battery.

Yeah, that's what is getting me thinking.

Well that doesn't sound too good. I always thought that it was CFW. There aren't any other methods as close to CFW? What are some advantages and disadvantages? By the way, that sucks if Dark-Alex got pinned down by Sony... It's really drawing me back from updating to OFW 6.20
In your opinion, what guide would be a good one to use? I see a lot of them.
