So, i have bought all the necessary gear to flash a Benq drive and then i realised that i have a lite on drive in my xbox 360. I need an absolute laymans guide to hacking a lite on drive, as i am currently worried that i have spent all my money in vain. Please help guys, and thanks in advance. :]

I am also confused about all this probe stuff, and i really am hoping i wont have to buy any of that sort of thing, ive already spent a fair bit already :/

We need to know which firmware your lite on has, it will say on the top of the drive on e of the following,

74850C
83850C
93450C

Let us know which one you have and we will tell you the easiest way to mod it. If its the 83850C you have, let us know the manufacture date on the DVD drive also.
