Eurovox Max V Help Please

Hi guys I have a eurovox Max V and I think the remote sensor has gone on the front panel , I have tried 3 remotes for that model and no joy, I have re soldered the sensor just in case of dry connection but to no avail. My question is can I totally erase the flash on the box so I can re flash and get it to channel list and not stuck on favourites or does any one else have any ideas , And does anyone know where I can get a front panel from as well , As always your help is greatly appreciated .

dont bother wasting more money on that box to be honest as you will be throwing it out very soon
perhaps it can be reflashed
did you check your remote with your camera/fone

Many Thanks , I know there is not long left for these so i was hoping that there was a way of re flashing that puts it back to chan listing instead of favourites but i tried to re flash but it stayed the same , So i was hoping there was a way of erasing and reflashing

can it not be done by the buttons on box?
sorry i vant really help with this box as i never had much to do with them :(

No my friend as the box is stuck on favourites and will only flick through the block that it is on.

if you reflashed you would need the remote control to install and set up the box ,and as you say its not working with the box. i would think its a false economy paying money to fix the max v, if your in the uk have a look at the krypview a780 or if in ireland(on ntl) look at the starview 6 ,there are a couple of good threads on here with info on both.
